Where is ACE located?
ACE is located on the first floor of the Operations Support Building II (OSB-II), (Building K6-1249). Directions to the facility:From the Badging Station:

  • Turn right out of the Badging Station.
  • Go to the Badge Checkpoint (show your badge).
  • Take the first exit on the right then turn left at the light onto State Road 3 (Kennedy Pkwy N)
  • Continue for approximately 4 miles (towards the Vehicle Assembly Building-large building with NASA logo and American flag on the side of the building)
  • Make the second right onto Saturn Causeway
  • OSB-II will be the third building on your right.

From State Road 528 (SR 528):

  • Take Exit 49-Courtenay Pkwy (SR 3) north
  • Continue approximately 8 miles to the Badging Checkpoint (show your badge)
  • Once through the Badge Checkpoint, continue for approximately 4 miles (towards the Vehicle Assembly Building-large building with NASA logo and American flag on the side of the building)
  • Make the second right onto Saturn Causeway
  • OSB-II will be the third building on your right.
Can you recommend some area hotels?

Can I bring my spouse/child/family member to KSC?
ACE is located on Kennedy Space Center (KSC) a federal facility with visitor restrictions. All visiting passes issued require personnel to have business related activities or events to be approved. Should you have family traveling with you and they have an interest in visiting KSC, please check out the public tours provided by the KSC Visitor Center website: KSC Visitor Center
When attending an event at ACE, what dining options are available?
Across the street from ACE facility:

  1. Is a cafeteria/food court located in the Multi-Function Facility (MFF) Building (Building K6-1145). The cafeteria offers various options:

    Subway: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

    The Barista (Proudly serving Starbucks): 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Southern Beats: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    Rooster Bay Chicken: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Yo2Go Frozen Yogurt: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  2. A snack bar located on the third floor of Operations Support Building I (OSB-I) that is open Mon.-Thurs. 7:30am – 3:00pm and Fri. 7:30am-1:00pm.

ACE Facility Onsite:

  1. The NASA Exchange store selling souvenirs, sandwiches/salads/snacks and various sundry items can also be found in the OSB-II lobby, where ACE is located.
  2. A vending machine area with a full size refrigerator and microwave are available to all participants.
Will I be able to access the Internet at ACE?
Yes. Wireless access is available at the facility. Both NASA and Non-NASA identities will be provided codes to access KSC’s Wireless Network.

Will I be able to plug in my laptop and/or my cell phone?
Yes. Power receptacles are available in the classroom and conference rooms.
May I ship something back to myself (e.g. course books, materials etc.) after the event?
Yes. Course materials may be shipped back to your home Center via NASA inter-center mail. Please see one of the ACE Project Specialists located in room 1005 for assistance.Additional shipping services are available at the mailroom in the KSC Headquarters Building (Building M6-399) Room 1538. Counter service hours are 10:00am – 3:00pm and the phone number is (321) 867-3752.
What do I need to bring with me if I am picking up a visitor badge?
You must bring two forms of ID with you, one of which must be a government-issued photo ID. Please consult this webpage for further information: Visitor Badge Information
Is there a fitness center I can use while I’m at ACE?
Yes. There is one fitness center on-site at KSC: it is located in the O&C Building (M7-355), Room 1514. The fitness center is open Monday-Friday from 5:30am-7:00pm. Many area hotels also have fitness centers available for use by guests.In order to use the KSC fitness centers, you must fill out two forms: 1) a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and 2) a Fitness Center Demographic Information form. ACE staff can provide electronic copies of these forms upon request.
