NASA Associate Administrator Chris Scolese and Chief Engineer Mike Ryschkewitsch spoke to Academy Director Ed Hoffman in the first session of “Masters with Masters.”

The event took place in the auditorium at NASA Headquarters on April 24, 2009, with NASA First class in attendance as the live audience. NASA TV taped the program and provided full technical support.

“Masters with Masters” is a series of web-based learning videos that brings together two NASA experts to share insights, lessons learned and best practices. Its primary objectives are: 1) to help create a cohesive community of project management and engineering practitioners across NASA; 2) to enhance NASA’s ability to function as a learning organization that cultivates reflective practice; and 3) to extend the sharing of lessons learned and best practices across borders (organizational, sectoral, and geographic). The emphasis is on storytelling in an informal atmosphere that encourages candid discussion and reflection.
