January 2014 marks the first release of the APPEL News Digest, the Academy’s monthly news and events update. Have you signed up?
Beginning in early 2013, several of NASA’s websites, including the Academy’s, underwent a significant transition to update the look, feel, and functionality of its webpages. These updates provided an opportunity for APPEL to advance and improve online user experience and engagement with its stories, videos, images, and information. Concurrently, the APPEL team initiated an effort to reimagine its monthly email communications to reflect the new look and feel of appel.nasa.gov.
The APPEL News Digest provides the APPEL team with the ability to highlight news and information about its courses, upcoming events, learning resources, hands-on development programs, and featured social media and video resources.
Delivered monthly, the APPEL News Digest is designed to offer APPEL stakeholders a well-rounded summary of the Academy’s work on a regular basis.
