Masters with Masters 14 (Jerry Clubb and Dave Mobley)
On September 5, 2013, NASA Chief Knowledge Officer Ed Hoffman moderated a conversation between NASA veterans Dave Mobley and Jerry Clubb. Throughout their careers, Mobley and Clubb have held a number of technical and leadership positions and spoke with Hoffman on a variety of topics including lessons learned, international collaboration, mentoring, and important leadership skills.
During the session, Mobley relayed one of the best pieces of leadership advice he’d received. “If you’re going to be a leader, you got to get out there and lead and be active and do something,” said Mobley. “You can’t sit in the office and send emails.”
Masters with Masters is a series that brings together master practitioners to reflect on their experiences, lessons learned, and thoughts about upcoming challenges.
