Johnson Space Center (JSC) offers new knowledge resources on the Space Shuttle Program.

NASA’s modified Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft with the Space Shuttle Endeavour on top lifts off to begin its ferry flight back to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The JSC Chief Knowledge Officer and the JSC Engineering Directorate are pleased to announce the third release of the Shuttle Knowledge Console. Updates and new content to the knowledge resource include:

  • Columbia Debris Assessment Working Group Reconstruction Report;
  • Shuttle Records scanned in FY12
  • Technical panels including the Aero Panel, Loads Panel, Propulsion Systems Integration Group, Systems Engineering and Integration Debris Central, Thermal Panel
  • Shuttle-Related Knowledge Based-Risks
  • Shuttle Document Capture files have been reorganized for better findability
  • Shuttle Mission Reports and Shuttle Operation Data Book
  • A new image rotator with hundreds of shuttle images spanning the life of the program
  • Enhanced file browsing for the site to allow sorting by name, type, date, and size

NASA employees can gain access to JSC’s knowledge resources, including the Shuttle Knowledge Console, through knowledge.jsc.nasa.gov.
