The Academy of Program/Project & Engineering Leadership is gearing up for its sixteenth Master Forum, which will take place April 21-24, 2008, in Lansdowne, Virginia.

The theme of the conference will be “Proven Approaches to Project Management Excellence.” William Pomerantz, Director of X PRIZE Foundation Space Projects, will be a featured guest speaker. The full agenda of speakers and activities is being finalized.

The Masters Forum is an invitational event that brings together some of the best project managers and engineers from NASA, private industry, and other government agencies. The Academy invites participants based on nominations by center directors.

This event attracts approximately 70 practitioners for three days of knowledge sharing of best practices and lessons learned. The event is designed to cultivate a community of reflective practitioners and build cross-center relationships.

Though the stories of NASA’s own project managers and engineers are the heart of the program, thought leaders and practitioners from industry, academia, and other government agencies are invited to share perspectives.
