2010 was a year of dramatic change for NASA. With major programmatic changes in human spaceflight, proposed significant investments in technology development, a new National Space Policy and the pending retirement of the space shuttle, the agency operated in a highly dynamic environment.
The Academy was well positioned to anticipate and support new and emerging workforce needs through forums, international partnering, cutting-edge research, hands-on training programs, courses, and storytelling. Three new annual publications highlight the Academys efforts to serve the NASA workforce’s needs in adapting to the challenges of today and the future.
The Academy’s Annual Report details the Academy’s activities and innovations in FY 2010.
