About the Instructor(s)

Chris Singer

Chris Singer, NASA deputy Chief Engineer (retired) with 34 years of complex, high reliability space systems development experience, and was the agency catalyst for creating an innovative, collaborative, culture across 10 centers. As the Director of Engineering at Marshall Space Flight Center, he re-engineered an organization of 2500 engineers, and scientist responsible for design, testing, and operation of a diverse portfolio of systems from advanced rocket engines to space telescopes.

Jody Singer

Jody Singer, 14th Director of Marshall Space Flight Center (retired), is an esteemed executive leader with 38 years of experience overseeing 7,000 employees with an annual budget of $5 billion. She has demonstrated her capabilities in leading complex, high-risk programs including the Artemis Space Launch System, Space Shuttle Propulsion, ISS science and payload operations, and served as the project manager for the Reusable Solid Rocket Motor leading the team through Shuttle Columbia return to flight.
