Earth As Art

NASA’s recent publication and iPad app Earth as Art features 75 images of Earth taken from the Terra, Landsat 5, Landsat 7, EO-1, and Aqua satellites. Designed to inspire awe and wonder, each image in the collection is accompanied by a description of the scene and geographic location information. Sensors on the satellites that captured the images are able to measure light beyond what the human eye typically sees.
