This training workshop introduces project managers and those involved in federal contracting to the document that governs the federal acquisition process: the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Participants will gain a rudimentary understanding of the FAR system and its underlying basis, and become familiar with its structure and content.

Project managers and technical personnel interested in obtaining a fundamental knowledge of the FAR and its relationship to the NASA FAR Supplement.

About the Instructor(s)

Dave Glowacki

Mr. Glowacki is actively teaching courses for the acquisition workforce, including DAU-equivalent courses that meet the mandatory, elective, and continuous learning training requirements for FAC-C and DAWIA contracting certification. He also teaches courses that support FAC-COR and DoD COR mandatory and continuous learning training requirements for contracting officer’s representatives. He has served in various contracting positions from contract specialist to warranted contracting officer in operational, specialized, logistics and systems contracting. Mr. Glowacki obtained the Acquisition Professional Development Program Certification (Level III – Contracting) and holds other notable national memberships for contract management.
